“A Season of Sharing the Blessing”

Dr. Ricardo Fernando, a colleague to some, a mentor to many and a “Tatay” to us all will be celebrating his eightieth birthday this June. This marks 80 fruitful years of wisdom, a collection of experiences which he lovingly shared with us the past 20 years in its physical manifestation, the ISDF itself.

With the Institute having been founded some twenty years ago, each passing day has been a testament to the advancement in the field of diabetes care management as evidenced by a steady stream of graduates who has since moved on to share what they learned. There has never been a day since we graduated that we have not been grateful for the knowledge we have harvested and subsequently shared with the rest of the community. And it’s no mere coincidence or act of serendipity that the success of our Institution and its graduates follows that of the recognition and respect that the medical community has rightfully bestowed upon its visionary, our very own, Dr. Fernando.

Feeling both blessed and privileged to announce the event, we proudly extend an open invitation to all ISDF alumni to join us for the celebration of the 80th birthday of our beloved “Tatay” and the 20th foundation day of our prestigious institution, the ISDF aptly called 80/20 Celebration.
This will be a weeklong clelebration that will culminate on June 27. We as one community, one family, will be participants to an event that took eight decades in the making...

with this opportunity within our community...
